How to adopt a MoonDawg
Now that you have fallen madly, deeply, truly, and head over heels in love with one of the MoonDawgs of Mamá Luna’s Puppy Rescue, you are probably scratching your head and wondering, “with Sheila being so far away how exactly can I adopt that special pup that I’ve had my eye on?”
I’m happy to tell you that it is easier than you think.
If you live locally you can simply call me up to make an appointment to see the pups, choose the one you desire, fill out an application, pay the adoption fee, and take your newest family member home.
If you are traveling in Baja California Sur by car or bike or bus you can do the same as above.
If you are traveling to Baja California Sur by air, probably to Los Cabos, maybe to La Paz, the process is much the same as above except the timing is a bit more complicated. Every puppy who flies to the USA must have all its puppy vaccines, including rabies, and a health certificate. Puppies cannot fly until 30 days after their rabies vaccine. In reality, this means that puppies cannot fly to the USA until they are minimum 4.5-5 months old. The health certificate is included in the adoption fee.
If you would like to camp here at the Finca de la Luna in Todos Santos with me and the pack you are welcome to join us. You can get to know the pups and fly home with your favorite little love.
