I’ve heard it said that there is no rest for the wicked, nor for the weary.
Apparently, I’m either very wicked, very weary, or both. No sooner did I lay Luna to rest for her final siesta, now I have to have Pequeña’ cruciate ligament repaired. The surgery itself, while pretty gnarly and invasive, is common. The difficulty arrives when the recovery begins. Pequeña will have to be on complete lock-down, sequestered in a crate with very gentle forays outside to pee pee poo poo, for two weeks. For the following four to six weeks it will be critical that I keep her quiet and protected from her rough-housing brother and sister. This will be a near impossible task, as Pequeña is my bullet, my wild thing, my instigator, my little wiggle-worm who is constantly on the move.
I hope you will consider helping me help my wee Pequeña by donating to her cause. Every donation helps, no matter how big or small.
