Los Tres Amigos, Pantera, Max, and Loki, were dumped at the gate of a local family when they were just two weeks old. Thank goodness their mama was dumped with them so they were able to continue nursing until they were eight weeks old.

The family reached out to me for help and thanks to my wonderful financial supporters I was able to keep the pups fed and get them vaccinated.

Sadly, on 15 December 2023 Loki broke his leg. At that moment I gathered up three of the four babies and brought them home (the family kept the fourth pup). Loki’s leg was fractured and required surgery. Happily, he recovered amazingly well and his plate was removed within two months and he is completely healed.

Pantera has the cute and funny face, ears, and eyes of a pug, but the long legs and thin body of a Doberman. She is super smart and sassy. She loves to romp and play, but she is equally happy snuggling with her human. She was raised with both dogs (lots of them) and cats, and was cat friendly at one time. I can’t say for sure if that is still true.

Smarty-pants that she is, she has learned sit, stay, off, down, and how to walk both on-leash and off. She loves hitting the beach, romping in the waves, and running the singletrack trails. She is great with other dogs, people, and bicycles.

This sweet girl is going to make somebody an amazing and adventurous faithful companion!
